Eaglemont

"Small, quiet, friendly and well-heeled family suburb"

Eaglemont is quite possibly the best suburb in Melbourne.

A friendly, quiet, safe and leafy suburb that's close to leading schools and easily accessible by car and train to the CBD - Eaglemont is an elite family suburb full of tree lined streets and large homes with city and park views.

Much of the suburb has strict single dwelling rules, meaning the large estates cannot be knocked down and developed into apartments.

The most expensive streets in the North-East of Melbourne can be found at the top of Mount Eagle - where properties have remained tightly held for generations.

Close shopping strips: Eaglemont Village, Ivanhoe East, Ivanhoe, Heidelberg.
Close shopping centres: Doncaster Westfield (12 minutes), Northland (10 minutes)
Close schools: Ivanhoe Grammar, Ivanhoe Girls Grammar, OLMC, Marcellin, Ivanhoe East Primary, Kew High + more
Time to city: Eastern Freeway (15-20 minutes), Train from Eaglemont Station to Flinders St (20 minutes)
Close Parks: Most streets in Eaglemont have private parks down laneways that are hidden from the public view (although accessible), however there is Albert Jones reserve and The Righi Park in Eaglemont, as well as Chelsworth Park and Ivanhoe Park close-by in Ivanhoe East.
Golf Courses: Ivanhoe Golf Course (2km away), Kew Golf Course (5km away), Eastern Golf Course (5km away), Yarra Bend (5km), LaTrobe (7km)
