Mount Druitt
"A great place where you can socialise with people and still have great friendships with your neighbours"
I enjoy this area - I grew up in the SHIRE and ok, Mt Druitt doesn't have beaches nearby but I love the people and accessibility to everything. All areas have a good and bad side to them and Mt Druitt is no different. I have been here for 12 years now and have absolutely no problem whatsoever.
Great for
- Good hard working people live in Mt Druitt
- Affordable
- Not too much traffic
- Cheap
- Community spirit, public transport
- Law and order
Not great for
- There could be more facilities available for teenage kids
- Still tainted by bad reputation from years ago
- Teen attitude
