Sachind, I have owned a house at Edwardstown for 4 years and have not had an issue with safety and neither have my neighbours. The regular reported neighbourhood watch newsletter consistently reports on crime being on the busy roads that have a lot of an elderly presence. Other than that, a lot of copper theft from the huge development that occurs in the suburb.
