We have lived here for over 7 years now. Our teenagers have had easy access to public transport - they are young and fit enough to walk to the FG Train Station - about a 20 minute walk and a 5 minute drive. Our youngest has great parks to kick a ball in - the Upper Kedron Playscape is amazing. Then there is the off-leash dog park which is an easy walk. If you are ever in the need for company 5pm is happy hour with about 10 to 20 dogs arriving and playing happily together while their owners chat and the kids climb the trees. It's just great! The local shops are 5 minutes away and there are two schools in walking distance. Surrounding the suburb are hills of green trees. Mornings and evenings are lovely with bird calls and many regular local walkers to say hi to. It really is one of Brisbane's best kept secrets - so don't tell every-one!!
