"Undiscovered gem but not for long"

We moved to Arncliffe a year ago and are absolutely loving it. Truly is one of the last undiscovered gems within 10km from the CBD.

It's basically in the centre of 4 distinct geographic locations allowing easy access to different lifestyles within a 10min/3km drive. North you have your typical Inner West bohemian galleries, breweries, live music in Marrickville. South, there's beach living along Kyeemagh and Brighton Le-Sands. Greek and Mediterranean offerings in the west along with a quieter suburban lifestyle (Kingsgrove Woolworths is the quietest and best laid out supermarket we've been to). Towards the East you have Asian restaurants and grocers in Wolli Creek and the airport.

The area is rapidly undergoing gentrification. Many young professional families out and about in the mornings stroller in tow. Artistic types priced out of Marrickville and Newtown have also made a sizeable appearance.

Arncliffe is unlikely to remain a hidden gem for long. Our personally experienced travel times - 15mins to Central on the train, 10mins to Kyeemagh beach by car, 10mins to Marrickville via Princes Hwy, just over 15mins to Eastgardens Westfield and 25mins to Maroubra Beach.
