After relocating from the inner suburbs, I wasn’t sure Cranbourne would tick all our boxes and was very skeptical due to the stigma the suburb has had in the past. But honestly, it’s exceeded every expectation.

One thing rarely talked about is how well-connected Cranbourne is by road. Whether you’re heading down the South Gippsland Highway toward Phillip Island or jumping on the Monash for the city, the access is genuinely easy. It’s a suburb that opens up the best of regional Victoria and the Peninsula on weekends, while still keeping you anchored to Melbourne’s amenities during the week.

There’s also a thriving agricultural and equestrian community on the fringes that gives Cranbourne a grounded, regional soul without sacrificing urban convenience.

For tradespeople, small business owners, and those in growth industries, the local industrial, commercial and business precincts offer job opportunities right on your doorstep, no hour-long commute required. This practical, working-town energy makes Cranbourne feel real and unpretentious in all the right ways.

It’s not trying to be anything it’s not, and that’s exactly why we love it.
