Indooroopilly

"A beautiful, happy place to live."

Indooroopilly (or Indro) has been mine and my family's home for over two decades. My mum grew up a few blocks from where we live now, and nothing has changed. Kids can ride their bikes around the blocks, we still have Halloween trick or treaters, plenty of happy faces, and always a wave for people passing by. If you take the time to get to know your neighbours, they're wonderful people. All it takes is to cross that bridge, and make the effort to say 'hello'. The train station and numerous bus stops makes Indooroopilly the perfect place for a house of students, workers or commuters. There's always plenty of options - with so many great restaurants within easy reach by car, or just a stop or two away, you'll never be left wanting in terms of cuisine or entertainment. The nearby shopping centre is currently being upgraded to a luxury level centre, with many more additions over the next year and a half. It's generally a quiet suburb - the most noise you'll hear usually involves a few dogs playing, children walking home from school, or someone mowing the lawn.
