I visit Sydney from overseas a few times a year for work, and I always try to stay in the Summer Hill. It has a relaxed, local feel but is still super convenient. I can take a quick train ride into the city (or a more leisurely Light Rail). There are great cafes, bars at night, and a even as an out-of-towner, there is a strong sense of community that’s hard to find elsewhere. Great spot to feel like you’re living the local Sydney life.
