"Moved from Parramatta to Redbank Plains 1.5 years ago! WOW"
2011 was the start of the Sydney house pricing boom. My family and I could no longer afford to become first home owners without the stress of a huge mortgage and live in a 2 bed apartment. We looked into Springfield and came across Redbank plains . What a gem. I can catch the Springfield train to work. Only 30 mins to Brisbane CBD. Which has plenty of work. I found a Job in 3 weeks. Redbank plains has several great parks especially the large park on the corner of Redbank plains Rd. Some people have parties and my sons always see school friends there . The shopping centre is very modern and has a coles, Woolworth's and Aldi in one place. a great Raw squeeze place and a Pig and Whistle which has some nice refurbishments great place for a family togetherness or taking out friends. They have a modern Any time fitness and another gym called lifestyle On School Road there is a national park with a hike to a place called White Rock its a 1 hr 45 Minute Round Trip when you get to the top you can see the Brisbane CBD and I think Stradbroke Island. Very cool. There are some rough people however you can spot them a mile away and just avoid them. However Parramatta or Sydney was far worse. Every place has it undesirables. I come from Western Sydney where everything is very expensive and not worth it. To me Redbank plains is a great place to buy and raise a family.
