I have lived on Katunga for almost 20 years, no problems whatsoever. Our kids have all had jobs in the local shopping centre, it has always been safe walking up to the local shops, even at night. You get the odd screech of a car around the corner, but that happens in every area, then they grow up and it stops. We have never had any problems. We ride bikes around there, most people have christmas lights up. Our kids went to the local primary school, it is a great school. No problems at Katunga for me.
