Canterbury
"Need more development for the community in the area"
Canterbury is very quiet there is nothing much you can do. The only place you can visit is the supermarket in the area and the parks. Canterbury-Bankstown records most murders for any NSW council areas in 2016. I would not recommend for young families to stay here if you are a concern for the safety otherwise it is okay for people who want cheap accomodation and not too far from the city.

I have only lived here in Canterbury for one year, I have moved here from the Bayside Council area. I love living here as its so quiet and the locals are very friendly towards me. We have everything we need, but I am looking forward when the metro opens next year and more restaurants and coffees and a good fruit shop would be great

This comment is clearly uninformed. You have conflated the suburb of Canterbury with the council area of Canterbury-Bankstown. I have lived in the Canterbury since 2015 and have not experienced or heard of any crimes, let alone murders, in Canterbury. Most of the crimes you are referring to are out west towards Bankstown which is 10 kms away!
