Beecroft is a charming suburb with leafy streets and a village feel, making it seem like an ideal place to live. However, once you settle in, some downsides become clear. The local climate can be extreme, it’s often up to 8 degrees colder in winter and hotter in summer compared to Sydney CBD, and many houses lack proper insulation. What also stands out is the constant construction noise; nearly every street has a renovation or rebuild underway. The frequent presence of tradies, early-morning noise, and blocked streets can really impact the peaceful atmosphere you’d expect from a suburb like this. It feels like an overpriced suburb to me.
