Kianga

"It really is the Best!"

Kianga...where did you say? Well maybe it's not well known unless you are familiar with the far South Coast, but, for those who know it, they know residential paradise.
Kianga is bookended by Narooma and Dalmeny, both of which are breathtaking in coastal scenery, beaches and waterways, and supply the infrastructure of shops and services to Kianga.
When the holiday season rush begins and those smart travelers descend, on what has to be one of the most picturesque and pristine coastlines in Australia, Kianga remains the oasis in the middle of the action.
Sitting quietly in the middle of the 21 kilometer cycle and walking path between Narooma and Dalmeny, Kianga is privileged with sweeping views to Montague Island, the coastline, beaches and breakwater. If you don't wish to stretch out on the walk or ride back into the main town Antons Cafe is just a stroll away for great coffee, delicious fish and chips and quality food looking over the ocean.
It's how life use to be, a very friendly and supportive neighborhood that you can safely stroll on moonlit evenings with the gentle sound of the waves and the fresh smell of the sea. The kids play in the street and everyone just seems to have that relaxed look that they have discovered their place.
Narooma (and therefore Kianga) is reputed to have the most temperate climate in Australia and one of the most temperate in the world. It rarely feels too hot or too cold.
It's an area that naturally draws you outdoors. It doesn't matter if you jog, walk, cycle, kayak, fish, sail, surf, golf, bowl or just want to plant your backside down at one of the many, many magnificent beaches and parks. It is the fitness capital of the South Coast and Narooma even has a 24 hour Gym (Oddbods). There is just no other place on the Coast that offers as much.
From an investment point of view Kianga is still one of the very few places you can buy stunning, sweeping ocean views and high quality houses at an affordable price without being in the middle of nowhere. But, as the roads out of Sydney and Canberra (and even Melborne) improve that equation may change quickly.
If ever you want to holiday or live in paradise you should take a close look at the area. Kianga still has opportunities to live the good life at a price you can afford...at the moment!

Greenwell Point

"A Peacful Haven"

Greenwell Point has all the advantages of nearby Nowra (which is a sizable regional area with lots of infrastructure, shops, schools, cafes, hospital and health care etc) without any hassles.
It's a safe and pristine area surrounded by dairy cattle country.
From an investment point of view it's one of the few areas that is zoned in and can't get any bigger. With the upgraded roads bringing Sydney closer to the South Coast Greenwell Point is becoming a sort after village that will retain its charm while the areas around it expand. Beautiful waterways and escarpment views, sensational fishing and a lovely walkway along the waterfront make it a relaxed and very safe place to live. The hotel, a restaurant and cafe, plus a great fish and chip shop on the water provide plenty of dinning opinions. But the standout is the Bowling Club which apart from the Bistro has one if the best Chinese Restaurants in the State!
If you don't already own a place in Greewell Point there will probably be a time soon when you wish you had of purchased one sooner!
