Daw Park

"Close to everything, affordable, with great suburban lifestyle"

We've lived here for nearly 3 years and are planning to sticking around and raise our family here. 15 mins to city, hills, beach. 10 mins to Flinders Medical Centre, loads of good education options for kids. 4 major supermarkets within 5 mins drive, plus great local specialty shops (including best butcher and bread shop we've found anywhere in Adelaide). 3 great cafes with CBD quality coffee within 2 mins drive of our house.

Plenty of renovation has begun in the suburb, with lots of opportunity for further property development. It's convenience factors are bound to pay off in coming decades - a number of highly sought after suburbs are right next door.

We've found the neighbourhood friendly and safe (we've had less trouble here than when we lived in the Eastern Suburbs).

Goodwood Road is a better flow into town in peak hour than South Rd or Unley Rd, with WInston as a great backup on heavy traffic days.

Great for

  • Good quality schools and child care close by
  • Great cafes, specialty shops and supermarkets
  • Next door to prestigious suburbs
  • Shops, transport, close to everything in general.

Not great for

  • Limited nightlife
  • Contains a housing trust area

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Singles
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • Students
