Bariston Avenue

"Private and quiet street close to amenities"

There is free all day parking that is always available and the street is only about 7-8 minute walk to Military Road where there are a number of great dining, shopping and entertainment options (e.g. Cremorne Orpheum, IGA, Radio Cairo etc). There is also a short walkway that accesses WH Memorial Park which is perfect for small children or having a picnic - 20 metres or so away. Getting in and out of Bariston Ave is pretty straight forward as there is a set of traffic lights to the right (leading to the bus stop and school over the road) which means turning right onto Macpherson st in peak hour is best either when the lights are red or there is a break in traffic (longest I've waited is about 2minutes). The street is also very near Mosman (e.g. Harris Farm is a 3minute drive) and Neutral Bay (Woolworths about 3-4 minute drive). When meeting up with friends, Bariston Ave is often the meet up point when heading into the city or Balmoral etc as it's easy to get to and easy to park.
