My wife and I moved to 'Baulko', as the locals call Baulkham Hills,15 years ago from Ryde. It's different from surrounding suburbs in the Hills due to larger land blocks, more trees, lots of birds and wildlife, along with an abundance of parks, reserves and sporting fields. We were both happy we bought when we did as our recently renovated house is now worth three times what we paid for it, and we love living here. Matthew Pearce PS is terrific and Crestwood High is great, plus there are plenty of shops and 'Arise' is the standout cafe, with plenty of other good ones too. It's easy to drive to places or catch a bus and Baulko is a suburb away from the Metro at Norwest and heavy-rail at Seven Hills. Our teenage daughter is happily growing up here and also loves the suburb.
