Greenwood Drive

"Watsonia... overlooked until now."

From the land sale of the Watson farm estate in 1929, Central Watsonia was developed in the late 50's into the early 70's and was the top end of the Rosanna - Macleod - Watsonia dry belt. With neat homes and streets, firmly middle class it has been long overlooked for the quality suburb it has always been.
Watsonia Station is only 29 min from the city and staffed from first to last train 7 days/week or you can head up Greenwood Drive on the 566 Northland bus to access the No.96 tram City - Mill Park.
Greensborough Greenwood and Macleod Secondary schools are within easy walking distance of central Watsonia
The 700m long Watsonia shopping strip has well over 50 shops and businesses including one of the last local hardware stores, CBA bank, 3 chemists, 5 hair & body salons, 4 cafe's, 2 butchers, 2 bakers, a bottle shop and lacks only a quality restaurant or two to provide every thing you'd need in the one location.
