"Green and leafy, but traffic noise is getting unbearable"

This was a green belt, quiet with lots of wildlife, but the freeway has meant loads of noise. Very unsafe, see the amount of security in every home, screens stop the breeze and alarms on every front wall. No longer the haven it was. Lack of drainage can cause issues in heavy downpours.

"Quiet pocket so close to everything - best public transport."

Teneriffe has the best restaurants.

Public transport (especially bus) is fantastic - City Glider goes every 5 minutes peak time and late at night every 15 minutes.

Shopping is eclectic, like the people - very accepting. James Street is the spot for drinking eating shopping and just being seen. You can walk there.

The best internet, great mobile reception.

The best schools. Handy to Uni/TAFE/etc

$10 taxi to the city, walk to the Valley night spots.

Great for entertainment, good resale value/capital gain. No worries about increasing gridlock in peak hour - here you can walk to the places everyone wants to be. Means big $$$$ in the future.

Good city views from some spots, and not as noisy as you may imagine - not many dogs..

JUST GREAT.

"Great for stay at homes - getting out of here is a nightmare!"

A pocket of some old - some new - traffic is appalling - noisy - might as well live in the sticks if you want to get out of this suburb. Clem7/ICB a complete dud.

Ranks up there for capital gain because of the huge renovation market. Termites.

Would be if they could bes hate anyone not PROFESSIONAL. OK for lawyers and doctors - plumbers stay away! Snob paradise.

Dogs, dogs, dogs - all alone all day.

Am I living in the same suburb?? Hate is a strong word - the house I am living in was bought from a plumber! Yes I do have doctors and lawyers as street neighbours (always good if the kids fall off their bikes!) however there are engineers, pensioners, Council worker, shop owner, teachers also living in my street. I always take the time to say hello to my neighbours and know all their names - make an effort and you will be rewarded by neighbours who will bring in your bins if you are away. Personally I hardly ever need to leave the suburb for day to day business as the 2 local shopping precincts on Newmarket Road take care of 99% of what I need. For retail therapy I drive to Chermside Shopping Centre 15 minutes away.
