Scenic Drive

"A great street to raise a family and enjoy the outdoors."

Scenic Drive is a suburban street in the northern corridor City of Wanneroo, in Western Australia. The street runs along Lake Joondalup in the Yallagonga National Park. It is close to the Ocean Reef turn off of the Mitchell Freeway which connects the the southern and the northern corridors of the City of Perth. Living in Scenic Drive is like living in the country but in fact is only 30 mins by car from the centre of the City of Perth in the south, 10 mins to the City of Joondalup in the north and the same to the coast and beautiful beaches in the west. There is a modern rail system running along the Mitchell Freeway from Mandurah to Clarkson and a bus service a short walk from Scenic Drive that connects with the train. There are golf courses, gynasiums, public swimming pools and librarys close by as well as schools, technical colleges, universities and a police academy in the area. It is also a pleasant 10-15 minute drive to the Swan Valley wine region. There are cafes, restaurants, movie theatres and several shopping centres, a hospital and an abundance of medical facilities all with easy reach of this street.

The homes in Scenic Drive are well kept and street appeal is very high as it has lots of trees and green open space with an abundance of wild life. Beautifully kept parks with BBQ facilities are easily accessible and a beautiful lake has excellent walking and cycling tracks. There is public transport within easy walking distance and a great weekend market for fruit and vegetables is 5 minutes away. Wanneroo City Council is very pro active in maintaining the roads and parks and are responsive to residents requests when problems arise. There are four major clean ups provided each year for residents to bring out their rubbish and leave it on the verge for pick up which is done quickly and cleanly.

We have lived in the street for 20 years and raised a family here and would not want to live anywhere else.
