"Rozelle Bay Run"
Rozelle - beautiful walking, running and cycle tracks and on the Bay Run. 20 minutes to CBD and now the bridge and parks complete, this is a stunning little suburb, outside of city but close to buzzing village feel of Rozelle and Balmain. Walking and cycling distance to CBD for fitness and quality of life. Loved it.

"Historic Balmain"
So much history, sandstone & unique buildings! Churches, parks and walking tracks on the harbour. 20 minutes to CBD by ferry or bus. Walking or cycling tracks direct into city - often taking no longer than public transport! Unique old pubs, retail and restaurants at reasonable prices. Markets on the weekends as well as Jazz bands and other low key relaxing social events. Direct views to city and harbour at most points around Balmain. Great people and neighbours.

- No thoroughfare for traffic - only one access to Balmain only so traffic managed
- Walking and cycling tracks - safe on road, beautiful off road
- Beautiful Parks and excellent outdoor facilities e.g Dawn Frazer Pool, Tennis Courts etc.
- Extremely easy to access the city with no thru traffic.
- Friendly Community with Excellent People.
Not great for
- Parking during weekends or school ballet outside Churches

We moved from Queensland 11 months ago for my husbands work, not knowing a lo about Balmain wasn't sure about coming, but this suburb is soo good, love living here, It is so close to the city, Darlng Harbour, even the beaches aren't far away, eating out is amazing, and the pubs are great too, it has a real community feel, you can be in the city with all the hussel and Bussel then come back here and not really feel like you are in Sydney, just love living here and also having the ferry so close is just fabulous, and the people are great too, the only negative is the housing prices, we are renting a unit looking over the water, which is amazing, but to buy here is going to be a challenge, I just wouldnt want to live any where else!!!
