People are nice enough, but because everyone is so transient it takes
time to form relationships. Some don't bother because of jadded, forgetting
what it is like to be new, in a strange place with hardly anyone you know.
The wait awhile WA saying is definately the case. New people from other
stats will not understand how things are done the WA way. It can do your head in. Karratha& Port Hedland, South Hedland (lived in all three !!) The almighty dollar
is the most important thing, especially companies have forgotten about peoples happiness and family lives. Make sure you have accomodation from the company you work for and have this in writing on your contract. My family and I have had a real number done on us by companies not just working with them,
but local business. We are so looking forward to going back home to the eastern states. Green and much cooler, a life again. Third time over here and it has been very, very unlucky.
