Take it from someone who lives here, Northwood is a beautiful place to live in.We've been living in the new estate of Northwood, Mirrabooka for the last 5.5yrs with our children and have not had one problem. We feel lucky to have a home in this quiet community and I couldn't think of being elsewhere it's so convenient and although Northwood is a part of Mirrabooka it's a fair way from the established part and closer to affluent suburbs like Montclair Rise, Dress Circle and St Andrews. The police station is on the corner of Northwood and seems to be deterrent for negative activity. We feel like we are living the life, and are extremely happy here. I'm not from an Indian background but when Mirrabooka hosts the Indian festival of Diwali the residents get treated to special fireworks spectacular and it's very exciting and something we look forward to every year.
