We have lived here for several years and love the community feel.Neighbouring Nth Balwyn, Doncaster, Heidelberg and Lower Templestowe, this suburb is brilliantly positioned. Close to freeway access cuts down on your travel time. 5 klms from Austin / Mercy hospital, near private schools, surrounded by yarra bike track and several parks including the infamous Wombats Bend. This suburb suits young families, professionals, renters and pensioners who need to be near medical specialists. Bulleen plaza and Macedon Square provide excellent shopping and at a hop, skip and a jump from Westfield shopping town, retail is in easy reach. A hidden Gem which shouldn't be overlooked.

We bought here in 2002 and the Suburb is on the up and up. More young families are moving in and rebuilding/ renovating. Remember Collingwood, Carlton and parts of Hawthorne.....? All working class suburbs and now look at them.... Be smart.... at 11 klms from the CBD you'd be stupid to over look this suburb due to cosmetic reasons. A hop, skip and a jump from universities, hospitals and retail....a must buy/ invest. You can still get in under the Median house price. Blocks of land on average are in the mid- 600's.
Just watch it grow.....the next boom!!!!!
