Werna Place
"The best street in Hornsby"
Next to Reddy park, no through road, peace, quiet & convinient, 10 min walk to station and shopping centre, 5 min to Barker college and Hornsby south primary school, 3 min to Jack&Jill pre-school and great neighborhoods.

Alright. This is really not true. Your kids' education relies solely on you and how you raise them. The house prices are unreal. For reference, a two-bedroom apartment, around 25 years old will cost you $520 per week. For $450 you can buy a beautiful, 4-year-old 3-bedroom apartment in Warwick Farm, neighbouring Liverpool. With the same mindset, I had been living in Hornsby for nearly 15 years, until I finally decided it was time to buy a house. 1 million for an old apartment. I wasn't crazy and started looking in Western Sydney and now live in a 4-bedroom house which is only 3 years old, and the whole package set me around 670 grand. North Shore government high schools are now turning bad as well, (The only benefit being overfunding). I recommend your children to go to a good selective school such as Sydney Boys/Girls or schools like Fort Street for high school. It's not worth living in Hornsby in terms of education and transportation. I much rather prefer Schofields, rather than Hornsby.
