"Close to CBD, quiet and friendly."

Just outside the CBD (10 min walk). Many older houses being renovated, keeping the original character.

"A relatively unknown gem."

Very quiet, close the the best stretch of the river. Great schools and sporting facilities. Easy transport into the city. We love it here.

Hillside

"Good value, doesn’t feel like a community"

We lived in Hillside for 5 years. You can buy a good quality house for much less than suburbs closer to the city. Close to Watergardens Shopping Centre and an easy train ride to the CBD, but don’t expect an easy car park. Very multi-cultural suburb. People keep to themselves, and it lacks a sense of community. Crime was starting to become an issue, particularly youth and crazy motorists.
