Have lived in Varsity Lakes for 5 years, it's such a perfect location, that's still relatively close to the beach (less than 5km). It's still relatively affordable, although that is changing due to other areas closer to the beach becoming much more expensive. There are many great schools either within the suburb or 15 minutes away. Close to Robina Town Centre, a 10 min drive to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. It's only a couple of minutes from the M1, allowing you to zip to Gold Coast airport or an easy 1-hour drive to Brisbane. Plus you have the advantage of Varsity train station as well. There are plenty of parks and a multitude of cafes in the area as well as supermarkets such as Coles, Aldi and IGA.
