Craigie

"Craigie Right place right price"

We have lived in Craigie for 4 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It also has changed substantially from being a rental suburb to a family owned suburb. Because it is relatively cheap compared to the rest of Perth people have more money to do up there houses and we have seen that all along our street Mildura road, that people are renovating there houses. Also you will rarely see a house advertised for sale in craigie in the Sunday newspaper because there is a massive demand for houses in this suburb and they get snapped up immediately unlike the rest of Perth.
We are 1.2 km from one the most beautiful beaches, 500m from Whitfords shopping center which is massive and will soon be open for Sunday shopping and 150 m from the bus stop that takes you directly to the train station. Considering the median house price for Hillaries across the road is in the order of $650000 we fell lucky to be here at $450,000. By the way the median house price for Craigie went up $30,000 last month so you better get here quick.
