Mount Street

"Quiet leafy street close to transport and shops"

Mount Street retains the quietness of residential suburb yet is close to the buzz and life of the weekday business trade. It is quiet and relaxed when you need it to be - when you return from work and on weekends.
Taking public transport to work is fantastic - trains run regularly to and from the city and many buses pass North Sydney, making it very convenient and accessible.
After 6pm and on weekends, parking on the street is free making it easy to entertain with friends.
There are many schools around (primary and secondary) so if you have children, there seems to be quite a bit of choice.
While there aren't a great number of restaurants in North Sydney, it is a short stroll to Blues Pt Rd or a drive to Crows Nest.
Being pretty much in the centre of Sydney, driving to most places to easy - especially with fast access to the Cahill expressway, bradfield highway and pacific highway.
I enjoy living in Mount St, especially because I work in the City. It is such a short train ride (6mins) and I can opt to walk across the bridge on nice days.
