I like it here... Some people may not like it for whatever reason but this is where i live and they should really get out if they dont like it. My husband and i have lived here for a while now and we respect that it is a little rough around the edges but there are worse places in Melbourne. Our neighours are great!! there is a European lady next door and a young family on the other side.

Anyway my 2 cents worth!! Come on Sunshine you are great!!

Hi we were new to Melbourne 4 years ago and could only afford to buy in Sunshine West. We just looked at the value for money really.

We are now 4 years along and had our first baby here and absolutely enjoy the suburb. Our Neighbours are really nice and always say hi when passing by. We have a massive block and are now consdering sub-dividing it as we have seen that a number of developers are starting to do that.

Overall we rate this suburb and it has paid us dividends in many ways!! At only 10 Km from the city this is pure value.
