Rockhampton

"Rockhampton welcomes you."

An upcoming, progressive city and region to establish yourself and family. Rimmed by the Berserker ranges, and positioned across both sides of the Fitzroy river, there are plenty of economic and social opportunities. Close to the ocean that is the beautiful Capricorn Coast and Keppel Isles. Built on the backbone of beef (the Beef capital of Australia), agriculture, resource, industry, government, health services and hospitals, university, education, and flagged as growing tourist destination. Rockhampton has excellent water security (thanks to the Fitzroy River and it's mighty catchment area - second biggest size in Australia) and a relaxed friendly atmosphere throughout. Barbecues, two botanic gardens, fishing and great shopping precincts compliment the city vibes. A local government Plenty of government funded administration and works projects kicking off in the area, especially with road and water infrastructure.
