"Close to Everything"

One of the best streets in Rochester.

Close to State Primary and Secondary Schools, Local churches, bowls club, corner store, playground and only a short walk to main shopping area and train station.

Boast big wide streets, with good footpaths and most homes on large blocks so you are not close to the neighbors.

Find everything you need within several street blocks, post office, pubs train station, parks, pubs x 3, churches x 4, schools x 3 supermarket, Professional services of Solicitor, accountant and many specialty stores - such as jeweler, shoe, clothing, sports, electrical, videos, local department store etc.

Rochester Has
4 banks - CBA, ANZ, Westpac and Bendigo Bank.
3 pubs, Rochester, Criterion -with bottle shop, Shamrock.
2 restaurants - Pizza and The Tavern

Sports include - Football, cricket (both run Auskick/Cricket learning session on season), tennis, netball.

Local Secondary school of approx 490 students years 7 - 12 has own small gym, major entertainment venue, huge arts faculty and IT department, new Industry learning centre catering for hospitality, building and industrial metal trades. All this topped with great teachers and caring knowledge personable principal.

Elderly are catered for with Senior Citizens, aged care facilities, rebuilt hospital with 5 GP's and special medical staff,

The best thing about Rochester is that is close enough to Echuca regional Centre on the Murray River only 20 mins away, 40mins from Bendigo, 55mins from Shepparton and just over 2 hours from Melbourne.

If you don't want to live in a crowded town but like to be near - close to services and facilities then Rochester is the place to be. Growing all the time with new comers welcome

Town has a lovely peaceful and friendly atmosphere suitable for all generations.

"Family friendly town"

Has everything for the family from the youngest to the eldest.
Childcare, preschool, primary school, secondary college with gym and arts department, community learning centre catering for all ages and interests.
Has sporting facilities - football, cricket, bowls, tennis, netball, walking/exercise clubs.
Good shopping area with super IGA, clothing, shoe, jeweller, chemist, butchers x 2, bakery, coffee shops x 2, pizza restaurant/delivery, takeaways x 3, Mitre 10 garden and home, real estate agents x 2, newsagent, tattslotto agency, petrol stations x 3, motor mechanics x 6, MG rural supplies, car dealerships x 2, Retrivision, local department store, landscaping and gardening centre and sports store. Newly rebuilt hospital "REDHS" with 5 GP's and specialist Medical personel.

"Great place to live"

There is something for all generation in Rochester.
Great schools, good shopping centre, great elderly facilities, new hospital with great staff, plenty of sporting facilities, close to Bendigo and Echuca regional centres without having to live there. Has regular train/bus service to Echuca, Bendigo, Shepparton and Melbourne.
