Moved to Kingaroy in Dec.2017 (retiree). None of the 4 medical practices in town will see me. “Not taking on new patients” in each case. No options, no consideration of personal circumstances, just ‘go away’! Incredibly bad situation in a town of 9000 people. New residents simply can’t see a doctor!! Got put on so-called waiting lists, but these are just a way of fobbing people off. Haven’t been called back by any of them in 9 weeks now! Have to go to Towoomba (2 hrs. drive, $50in petrol costs) just to get an existing prescription repeat! BE WARNED! If health services are important to you, DON’T come to Kingarpy
