I have been living here for over 20 years and will probably try to reincarnate and live my next life here. That's how good this pocket of Melbourne is. You do not have to trust me. You just have to drive around and see for yourself. There are pockets in Malvern East that will suit everyone. There are secluded and tree lined avenues, there are streets next to parks and Chadstone, there are laneways near shopping strips and trams, there are roads that conveniently connect you to the East, the Bayside and also all the way West if you are keen to venture down there. I am an old timer who lived here, raise a couple of good kids and paid off my mortgage. Just need to check myself in to Arcare one of these days if I can afford it :)
