Manor Lakes

"Beautiful & Peaceful"

Pros: I bought a land to live in Lakeside in 2018 and I am impressed with it so far because of it being close to all amenities including Train station that’s 1.7 km’s away and most importantly the lake views that were almost impossible to find in any other new estate across Melbourne. I was initially going to purchase in point cook but couple of my friends living in Manor Lakes convinced me to purchase nearby due to the lakeside views and large blocks of lands.

Most other suburbs either have smaller lots or are too far from station or without direct access/views of green lands/wetlands. I found all this packaged together in one.

Cons: However it’s a 15 mins + drive from Princess freeway to get into Manor Lake which is not that bad but you have to pass through Werribee town centre as there is no direct access to suburb through freeway. This will hopefully change in 2021 when a flyover is connected to freeway to give residents direct access.

Overall it’s still a great suburb comparatively.

Your feedback has helped to make a decision. Me and my family are in process of buying our first home in west suburb and we were greatly confused between Point Cook, Werribee , wyandham vale and manor lakes . Looks like we will go for manor lakes as we have 3 young kids. I am also impressed with the kind of houses and amenities that are available there. And its only going to get better. Again, appreciate the feedback.

Amenities? There's not much. No aquatic centre, no variety of massage parlours and inexpensive veggie shops, no fish shop. Even driving to Werribee won't help with most of that. Oh, yeah, and the bus runs only once an hour and not always to schedule, so you are forced to drive.
