We bought an apartment in Mortdale 8 months ago and love the community, greenery and parks around. Everyone is super friendly and the shopping strip has everything you need, from a good IGA, to fresh fruits and veggie shops, an awesome butcher, great patisserie and some decent cafés.

Only a 5 mins drive to Oatley park’s river beach and nice waterside walking trails. The upgraded and numerous playgrounds and childcare options close by are handy too. Hadn’t even heard of this suburb a year ago, having only lived in an around the city and inner west but really enjoying it so far as a young couple.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy an apartment as you can get decent value vs. space and some large apartments here.
