Lakes Entrance

"Friendly and scenic small town"

Lakes Entrance is a pretty little town by the sea. Locals are friendly. It has a really good primary school. The secondary school is well known for bullying. Numerous people take there kids to bairnsdale secondary or nagle. Bairnsdale secondary is also known for bullying & problems. Lakes Entrance has doctors clinics but the hospital is close to an hrs drive away. As far as food shopping goes they have a woolies, IGA & aldi. I live in Lakes but are considering moving because theres not much around for my kids in regards to there future choices and education. Future jobs are more about availability then choice. Universities & further education are quite a distance away, although there is a tafe in bairnsdale. You generally need to travel far for specialist medical appointments & theres not many services around for kids with disabilities. Overall its is a lovely place. It would be a nice place to retire
