Roslyn Host

We sit on our back verandah looking over our bush backyard and further on the reserve below, and enjoy seeing the lorikeets feeding on the blossom on the trees near us, we say this is our 'piece of heaven', it is truly a beautiful suburb to live in. We live right near the suburb Westleigh, so we walk to the Westleigh shops and meet people we know, our neighbours are lovely, there is definitely a warm community spirit in the suburb. Lots of Parks, Schools, Pre-Schools, there are buses and free commuter parking at the station. Thornleigh is a quiet relaxed suburb but within close proximity to Hornsby or Pennant Hills. The down side is of course the trucks on Pennant Hills road which has been mentioned, but we all longing for the completion of the North Connex where we are assured that it then cost trucks more to use Pennant Hills Road than the North Connex, unfortunately the completion will not be till 2020, but it will come. We live far enough back from Pennant Hills Road not to get the noise. A great suburb, we wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
