Morningside

"Planes, Trains and Automobiles . . . . but remember the upside."

Its definitely the best spot in Brisbane if you take away the planes, trains and automobiles (and the barking dogs) . . . . In fact' leave them in, because every suburb has its issues and for mine the pro's far outweigh the cons. Remember all the great restaurants, the fabulous seafood market, Oxford Street shops, there are about 5 Gyms, several great pubs, plenty of parking, bus, rail and ferry options, motorway and airport access, supermarkets galore, and Bunning's is just up the road. So is First Choice and Dan Murphy if you need help sleeping. It is near Carindale, has cheap fuel, lots of accommodation options and plenty of schools, both public and private. Its smack bang in the middle of everything you could want! AND . . . . . Don't forget folks. . . .. the new runway (2019) will take about 50% of the air traffic away from Morningside and dump it on East Brisbane, Bulimba, Hamilton and Eagle Farm. There is no doubt there are some noise issues, but we have sat down and looked at other options in the area and we would rather keep what we have at the price we got it for thank you.
