A beautifully quiet area, yet still close to the main roads infrastructure, where there is bus stops, schools , shops, post office, and doctors' surgery close by.
Plenty of parks scattered throughout the neighbourhoods of Kalkie, and an excellent choice of schools, pre-schools also.
With a lot of areas of Kalkie still having a 'rural' aspect (ie. views to the cane fields, hummock, etc.) it feels like you are far away from the hussle and bussle of the city.
Yet hop in your car, or on the bus, and you're only 5 min from town !
