"I Love Victoria Park"
I love living in Victoria Park. It’s near shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, river, rec centre, Casino, Movies by Burswood and the list goes on, it has everything. You don’t need a car because you are only 3km from the city and can pretty much cycle everywhere you need to go. Victoria Park isn’t what I call a green, picture perfect area but having said that the street I live in is tree lined with well looked after heritage weatherboard and brick homes and looks quite nice. I noticed a few comments from other reviewers about the crime but I have to say “what do you expect”. If you live in the section of Vic Pk which is full of flats and complexes you are going to have problems with crime. I have friends that live in complexes in quite “well to do” suburbs and they have been broken into a few times and have to deal with constant noise from annoying neighbours. I live in the “suburbia” part of Vic Pk and haven’t had a problem with crime. I bought a house in the area a couple of years ago and am glad I did. My family and I feel very safe and comfortable and thoroughly enjoy living in Vic Pk. I rate Vic Pk 10 out of 10!
