Gympie is a pretty town with shopping and recreational activities that are decent enough to keep the average family happy on a day to day basis.

The small size of the town and the available nearby acreage makes it an ideal place for those wanting a relatively quite place to raise a family without missing out on the comforts of life, with 2 shopping centres and a good range of shops Gympie is not out of touch.

Being very close to all the major attractions of south east QLD it is a perfect base for getting out and about and seeing the local attractions, only 45 minutes to the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore/Mooloolabah/etc), 40 mins to Noosa and 1.5 hours to the Brisbane Airport on the South side and 40 mins to Tin Can Bay, 60 to Rainbow Beach and the access to Fraser Island is within these timeframes.

There are not to many affordable places to live left that boast this kind of proximity to all the major attraction of Sth East QLD.
