There's a lot going for Mawson Lakes - good schools, a university campus, a modern library, good shops, lots of small businesses, lots of large businesses, nice scenery, good public transport, etc. The only thing against it? The ridiculous pieces of 'art' floating in the lake!

Beautiful suburb with excellent schools. Add to that a good library and a spacious shopping centre. Perfect for young families.

Pooraka has more than a few negative factors - lack of shops, lack of schools, lack of bus services, and lots of hoon drivers in the area for instance.
