"Beautifully quaint, peaceful and walkable"

We recently moved to Croydon and absolutely love it! Rich heritage, gorgeous federation homes and a real community spirit.

What we love is the location, where we get to live amongst peaceful, tree-lined, clean and wide streets, beautiful architecture with an old time atmosphere. There’s none of the ‘grittiness’ that can come with some Inner West pockets.

The Strand is so cute, and the village centre has everything you need for day-to-day living with lovely cafes, restaurants, grocers, pharmacy, physio, barber, post office etc. The train station is pretty good and gets you into the city in 20 mins (all stops, but we don’t mind).

What’s great is that Croydon’s neighbouring proximity to Burwood Westfield and Ashfield means you can access more full scale retail and entertainment very easily (just a short stroll if you’re on the right side), without all the noise/commotion that comes with that. We love the walkability to do everything we need whilst living in peace!

Croydon also has some heritage protected areas like the Malvern Hill with beautiful character filled homes on much bigger blocks than elsewhere in the Inner West.

The parks are fantastic, the variety of public and private schooling in the area is tops for families. The apartments also tend to go for cheaper than other suburbs in the Inner West too.

A fantastic underrated suburb of the Inner West! Would highly recommend.
