This town is buzzing from construction, freight trains, planes, trucks, buses, cars and taxi drivers. If you are looking for a peace and quiet location with sizable land, mascot is not for you.

Although it has a couple of good pubs and is 10mins train ride to central station, it doesn't offer much else.

The daycare centers seem to be a premium for very little quality care also. The number of roadworks in the area have slowed down traffic considerably. Streets have roadworks for several months to years. It's not as temporary as you might think. Not to mention the apartment boom in the area.
