We love that our suburb now has a winery! The place is changing so fast- lots of house renovations, and lots of new streets planned through council for brand new homes in Waverley in the coming years. Can't wait to see the suburb blossom even further over the next five years or so. We feel very welcome as a lesbian couple, getting on well with the elderly couple next door one one side & single mother on the other side. We go for walks along Waverley Lake, and 5 minute drive down to Launcestion Aquatic Centre where we go swimming once a week.

Great for

Affordable- 3 bedroom houses on large blocks for around $140,000
Natural Beauty of the suburb- it has it's own lake!
Supermarket, School, Fast food, Service Station
Winery, Vineyards, boutique tourist accomodation

Not great for

No restaurants- would be good if the winery built one! or even just a cafe
