Brown Street

"A great street, except for a couple of houses..."

I have owned a property in Brown Street since 2006. It is very convenient to most local facilities, and is a 5 minute walk to the railway station, making the commute to work in the city very easy. Due to the design of the estate, Brown Street does not get any through traffic, anyone looking to shortcut through the estate uses Mitchell Street. It is close to local shops, the Pine Rivers Bowls Club, and a fantastic bakery is situated at the end of the street. I highly recommend this area, it is a great spot to live. The only issue is a couple of rental houses which are currently harbouring some hoons which seem to think it is okay to speed up the street. I notice these houses are for sale, so no doubt they won't last too long!

Great for

  • Nice aspect, nice trees
  • Corner store at the end of the street
  • Very close to the train station

Not great for

  • Couple of rental houses with hoons living in them

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
