Glenwood

"Great nifty suburb for families"

We moved to Glenwood few years ago and we started renting. We fell in love with this suburb and hence bought a house and settled permanently. We bought it a bit later into the boom and hence paid more than what we expected but cannot ask for more. Great neighbours. Stroll to woolies, schools and parks, cannot ask for more. Never had issues with noise or burgalry or anything. It is a bit of a drive to where I work, but I love my drive. When I have to go to city, just catch a bus, Bus stops are everywhere, there are 3 in walking distance to my house and closest one being just 2 mins. For anyone having young lings we care about who lives in the suburb as it also determines the school prospects and Glenwood ticks all the boxes. Not sure about investing as we are owner occupants. In terms of eating out, I am more of menulog person if I do not feel like cooking. If I want to go someplace cool to eat, all places are at driving distance. Soon enough we will be getting new trains that will take off the stress of driving. And Parklea market is being redeveloped, and once we get one look at the prices of the apartments being built there, we will be glad that we own a house in this area :-)
