Have lived here now for 14 years. Great location to get on the freeway quickly, short drive to freo, cockburn and shops. Have friends who live in Beeliar and they have more issues with kids walking around the streets, homes west residence and breckins. (In fact i’d hate to put up with what my friend does at her house in Beeliar) Have to say, had a few issues 10 years ago but that's it. Have raised 3 kids here and the only trouble i have had is outside the area, for eg son was hit after getting off the bus in Spearwood and a few things have gone on in Freo. When i have people call in they always remark on how little traffic there is. As for dust… what a load of BULL DUST! There is no dust and i believe the only people who have problems with midges are the ones living beside the lake but they have sprayed the lake last few years and that should not be an issue any more. (I don't live near it so its was never an issue for me) there was a strange smell on the weekends when we first moved in and that turned out to be the soil and sand business burning stuff but they have stopped doing that now. I have to agree that once or twice a year there is a rubber electrical smell and that is only when there is not much wind. (Fremantle's live stock ships smell is 100 times worse and they are lucky enough to get that smell a few times a month, yuck!) I personally dont like the house im living in but thats to do with my tastes but love the area and what it has to offer
