Rhodes

"High Density Living what more to say"

23/03/2020 I have lived in rhodes for about 5 years now. Let me say it was fantastic then. Now it is way too crowded. Used to be a clean, tidy suburb not too noisy. Now since a bridge has been built to connect it with Wentworth Point it is becoming tiresome.
Pros: Frequent train system, shops are nice. Cafes (Left Of Field and Bare Witness) are popular.
Cons: Trains aren't frequent enough, even if you try to get to the station at 6:00am you'll be standing shoulder to shoulder on the train. Shops are nice but getting very crowded now. People are nice but don't expect to make friends if you only speak english.
Warning: Rhodes is only getting more and more apartments. Wentworth Point is only getting more and more apartments. Dont' believe me look at DA applications. At the time of me writing this Rhodes will probably have 1/3 more aparmtents and Wentworth Point will add another 50% of apartment volume. It has come to a point where just trying to drive around Rhodes is hard work. Get out while you can.
