"A beautiful town"
Have recently relocated from Bathurst to Young the people are so friendly and welcoming Haven't met an angry person yet
The local schools look very well maintained and safe
Parks and Gardens are just beautiful especially "Chinamans Dam"
Rents and sales are much cheaper compared to other places making the dream possible
I can see my wife and i raising a family in Young beautiful place

"A Sinking Ship"
A town masking itself as a "City" over run by Sydney Siders looking for a tree change yet council keeps cutting them down
Rents and sales have reached ridiculous levels in the past 5 years making the dream of owning to locals impossible unless your dream is owing 1.5 million and leaving your children in debt
Bathurst prides itself on an elliteness yet the town is messy cold and full of crime
Council no longer cares about locals and more how this miserable place is seen by those who don't

I know a family that moved out from Sydney and property prices are soaring. If you were considering Bathurst to live, check out Orange too! Kinross is an excellent school and the city has great facilities and local produce. Agrestic Grocer is an old Apple shed converted into an general store/paddock to plate eatery
